Overview on Selection and Assembling of Cone Crusher


   1. The cavity shape of cone crusher is the work space formed by crushing wall (moveable cone) and rolling mortar wall (fixed cone). The design of cavity shape has a significant influence on economic and technical indexes of crushers (production rate, energy consumption, particle size and particle shape of final products, crushing walls and abrasion of rolling mortar wall etc). Unique design is adopted to make the particle size of final products more uniform in cube shapes. Abrasion on the surface of moveable cone is more even.
   2. The working parameters of crusher have direct influences on kinetic characteristics of bulk materials in crushing cavity. Its mainly manifests the influence of spinning speed of principal axis on the motion state of bulk materials, thereby causing important influence on working parameters of crushers (production rate and size distribution of crushing products etc).
   3. Swinging stroke of crushing cavity of cone crusher has an important influence on the working performance of crusher. When swinging stroke increases, the actual feed compression ratio of all crushing layers in crushing cavity gets increased, the quality of crushed products gets improved, and the calibrated discharging particle sizes get enhanced. When swinging stroke gets decreased, the actual feed compression ratio of all crushing layers in crushing cavity gets decreased, the quality of crushed products is aggregated, and the calibrated discharging particle sizes get reduced. In consideration of improving the quality of crushed products, the swinging stroke of all crushing layers in crushing cavity should choose the large value, but over crushing and compaction phenomena can’t take place.
    Hot assembly technique assurance:
    Before heating the cone, find out with gradienter on bearing stand to ensure cone steady and stable;         
    After hung by a crane, the principal axis must be ensured vertical to the center line and horizontal line of the cone;
    Connect and measure pore diameter. Adjust in advance the size of inside calipers to 0.50~0.40mm larger than the actual size of principal axis. When the pore diameter of the cone shrinks to the value, assemble the principal axis rapidly;
    After principal axis and the cone are assembled, cover the ball surface on the bottom of the cone with the pre-prepared slag powders to make it cool down slowly;
    Weld the cone and the principal axis firmly with steels, preventing assembly displacement during cooling. After cooled down to room temperature, clear away steels and sundries. Hot assembly is over.
