How to Test Cone Crusher


After successful installation, the commissioning work of cone crusher is a must. The commissioning includes no-load test and load test. Only when the cone crusher is tested to meet the requirements and passes the examination, can it be put into normal production use, and can its crushing effect and production capacity be guaranteed. Following I will describe the two test methods of cone crusher in detail.
1) No-load test
Conduct a comprehensive operation inspection on cone crusher under the conditions of no feeding. The inspection contents are: electrical equipment and electrical interlock system; lubrication, water supply, hydraulic station and hydraulic adjustment; functioning of the host part. No-load test should meet the following requirements: start and stop according to procedures, and the relevant chain systems should meet the design requirements; gear drive should not have shock and periodic noise; forward and reverse rotation speed of the movable cone should not exceed 15r/min; lubrication system works properly, the oil pressure is in the range of 0.05 ~ 0.1MPa, and return oil temperature not exceeds 50 degrees Celsius ; hydraulic system works properly and adjusts the discharge to meet the requirements; empty operation lasts for 2 ~ 8h.
2) Load test
When no-load test is completed and meet the requirements, the load test can be performed. Load test is to check necessary items in no-load test under the condition of feeding.
Load test shall meet the following requirements: load test should be carried out two consecutive nights (allowing a short stop and check). When the test starts, just add a small amount of ore, and then gradually increase to full load; feeding is normal, ores are evenly distributed in the crushing cavity, the discharge is proper and close to the required production capacity; no drastic vibration and noise during normal working of cone crusher. In the "iron cross" case, it can successfully exclude non-broken materials; hydraulic system works properly; oil pressure of hydraulic system is 0.08 ~ 0.15MPa, return oil temperature does not exceed 60 degrees, and all worn parts are without damage phenomena; electrical equipment works properly.
In actual production, you must be in accordance with relevant regulations and standards, make a right trial on the cone crusher, ensuring the cone crusher has high crushing capacity and work performance.
