Cone Crusher and Impact Crusher
Crusher is generally divided into the primary crusher, the second level and the third level crusher. The cone crusher and impact crusher are usually used as the second stage crushing machine.
As the second stage crusher, whose performance is better? It may be a little difficult for the customers to choose, and then let these two crushers have a PK.
First of all, from the crushing principle: Cone crusher uses two funnel crushing wall to crush and rub the materials under the action of main shaft and eccentric force to achieve the breaking effect. Impact crusher uses high-speed rotating rotor to hit materials on impact plate to achieve the crushing effect. So it cannot break too hard materials because the materials hit the impact plate directly. The wear degree of too hard materials on the impact plate is too big, and the impact plate must to be often replaced, which increases the customer cost.
Cone crusher breaks the materials by mutual extruding with the funnel crushing wall. While the impact crusher has three crushing chambers (three broken), so the materials from impact crusher is much smaller than cone crusher. And the gain shape from the impact crusher is very good, having cosmetic effect
In contrast, we cannot say which is better or worse, we can only say that each one has its good points. If the material is relatively hard, we recommend you use the cone crusher, and if you need the product size relatively small, or if you want to make plastic material, we recommend you to choose impact crusher.
